More than music...
The Blue Ridge Irish Music School has always been more than just a music and dance school. Since our start, 24 years ago, BRIMS has provided a loving and supportive community for all ages and skill levels. We could never have accomplished that without our wonderful community and dedicated volunteers.

What our volunteers do...
Like many small non-profit organizations BRIMS relies on our community for support. Our annual calendar of concerts, classes, travel, and outreach creates lots of opportunities for volunteers to contribute to projects and events align with their interests. There are a wide range of commitment levels and involvement - from a few hours collecting tickets at a concert to serving on our Board of Directors. BRIMS needs both and everything in between to continue growing and supporting the incredible community around Irish Music, Dance and Culture in Central Virginia.
