VCA Passport Program
BRIMS is thrilled to participate in the Virginia Commission for the Arts’ (VCA) Passport Program, an arts-access initiative created in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). Through the Passport Program, recipients of Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) benefits in Virginia can access discounts at participating arts and cultural organizations across the Commonwealth.
At BRIMS, Passport holders receive free admission to performances, as well as discounts for our classes and summer camp. In order to redeem this discount, Passport holders simply show their WIC card at the guest services/welcome desk when entering. Discounts for concerts are limited to 2 for small venues, 6 for large venues. Pay-what-you can discounts for class and camp are limited, depending on capacity. Discounted opportunities allocated by order of making reservation request.

BRIMS Concerts
BRIMS hosts concerts and classes with artists of the highest caliber. It is so important to us to bring top-notch performers to the area! Concerts sponsored by BRIMS and our partners are open to the community to enjoy! Passport holders have free admission to BRIMS concerts (2 people for smaller venues and up to 6 for large venues).

Music and Dance Classes
Blue Ridge Irish Music School provides classes in traditional Irish music on a variety of instruments. in traditional Irish dance in soft shoe, sean-nós, stepdance and Cape Breton styles. Multiple class sessions per year are offered for beginner and intermediate students of all ages! We also host workshops with world class visiting artists! Passport holders can access pay-what-you-can pricing for classes. Space is limited so please reach out if you'd like to take a class with BRIMS!

BRIMS Summer Camp
BRIMS Summer Day Camp offers students a rich cultural experience that includes Irish music, dance, singing, drama, Irish language, crafts and more! Camp is for ages 5-14. Passport holders can access pay-what-you-can pricing for camp. Capacity is limited so please let us know if you'd like to register your child for camp!
